Yesterday i've gotten some of these fine dof pots and I was glad since they remove fear and those purple ordinary ones are rubbish at removing fear and other LM purple debuffs. I got feared quite a lot since I'm a WL and I can't do squat if that happens. So as I mentioned i got the pots, got into a fight, get feared use normal pot, get feared again plus some happy other LM stacking debuffs and I pott this elite pro fear removal pot. Oh heck, nothing happened, i was generally shocked. Next battle same situation nothign happened again. So i'm just asking if this is a well known issue or is it just happening to me?

So I made a petition on the LOTRO forums to request a Shadows of Angmar Book 15 Classic server, accessible via VIP subscription only.  Yes, you read that right.  I especially made the thread with PvMP in mind, but I do miss the old PvE experience as well, back when it had some soul.  I know many players have left over the years, especially PvMP veterans, because of the continued misdirection of the game, and the continued lack of attention from the devs to even make PvMP bearable.  It seems everytime the devs touch it, they make it more miserable.

Hello my fellow creeps and freeps!

Today I have posted in the Suggestions forum a new thread petitioning for a Shadows of Angmar Book 15 Classic server. I know it is a long shot. I realize Turbine probably won't look at it. But you know what else is a long shot? Waiting for Turbine to balance PvMP and give us back the old mechanics that made it fun. They have stated repeatedly that they have no plans for future development.

So if they have no further plans for us, then why can't we go back in time, back to when PvMP was at its peak fun and was actually almost balanced? I would gladly level my freep from scratch for this. Even enjoying the old content on-level is worth a server and a subscription for it. I never did see it all, anyway.

If you feel the same way, and would like to PvMP on a server that is frozen in time and safe from the side-effects of adding more levels and new gear, then I ask you to please both read and sign the petition that is linked in my signature below. Don't let the petition thread be buried. Tell Turbine you are willing to pay a monthly sub for this server. Maybe, just maybe, if they see enough dollar signs and enough petitioners, they'll listen.

It's time to take my leave. Found out a good friend of mine just quit, and he brought some extremely good points to my attention. I've had a lot of fun PvPing with you guys from SoM onwards. Creep and Freep side. I wish you all the best, have fun guys!

Bientôt noël, c'est vrai on va avoir le Rohan, mais pour les amateurs de PVP que pourrions nous souhaiter. Pour moi dans l'ordre: Que les farms de rez disparaissent, laissez les joueurs aller se taper dessus là où il y a de la baston!!! Ne pas tuer le même petit ranké 36 fois de suite, c'est pas beau, et si on respecte çà, le héros pourrons venir depuis le level 40 sachant qu'on va pas s'acharner dessus quoi. Un équilibrage pour de vrai, je sais çà fait comme la miss qui souhaite la paix dans le monde mais pourquoi pas. Eliminez l'antistun au pvp. Limitez le distract a 20 sec bordel de m.. Voilà je m'en vais sortir mon ouargue, faudrait pas qu'il me fasse un truc de meute dans le couloir.

Other noobish behaviors I may display are getting killed over and over in similar situations.

For example: This morning Debuff killed me in Isendeep several times and I kept coming back to die again. That can certainly be deemed as noobish behavior, especially from Debuffs perspective.

But wait? It is about perspective and we all measure success and challenges in different ways don't we?

Not getting upset when you die in a pvp zone isn't very "Noob" now is it? Also, being a lesser accomplished player facing an opponent that is Overpowered to start with and watching them use three disappears, pot and burn cooldowns just to get a kill on someone that they know is weaker? That I found entertaining..

Me fighting an accomplish Burg and hoping to win is a futile effort, but I find other measures to challenge myself and Debuff along with many other Freeps provide me with tons of laughs everyday.. Especially when I don't release right away and they Corpse Jump me. That's another feather in my cap, just knowing I rate a good jumping gives me another nice little chuckle..

I also find it interesting that the above definition points out that it's often the case that a real noob is usually the first to call someone else a noob. That they tend to call out and belittle others in open forums and enjoy making fun of others to their so-called homeys.

So in wrapping up, I guess in some ways I am a noob, as most of us are at times. As a matter of fact, I wish we had a NOOB title. That would mean more to me than any of the other Titles that Turbine let's me have.

Congrats to Third Marshall Ariahnnas Mistress of Horses. Throw the purple one in the stable. It has been a pleasure running with you from day 1. Everyone should take a lesson from you on following targets and raids would never fail. Time to call turbine about a higher ranked horse to keep you interested. Minnie time baby!

Hello Imladris. Just wanted to say thank you to the server, the freeps, and the creeps for a great two and half years, but time to go.

To the creeps:
Many of you may not know, but I respect everyone out there. Whether your play style is competitive, rambo, or star hug, you're doing it within a game that gave you the choice to do that. This is a game and without the two sides, we wouldn't be playing at all. I come from a game that had 100 v 100 raids every night, which included many more deaths and trolls than this game could even imagine. And again, thanks for putting up with Minstrels and Wardens, they are stupid OP.

Hellsweb: First creep I ever saw, smashed my face in at west TA lawn when I was rank 0. Amazing 1v1 fights with you when Minstrels were balanced.

Lugabadush/Mashu/Taller/Buhuu/Darkfling: Was great fighting with and against the original Black Lotus.

Wargstalker/Danilyn/Panzen/Potzen/Silar: These were the wargs that made me say ''oh s**t''

Grash/Ya/Gurakhar: Remember Akulhun's Aid? Good stuff.

Deadeye/Enpeecee: Thanks a bunch for those awesome 2v2s with me and Haeb

Talidis/Dugond/Symphony/Thump/Shak/Pawz/Jotar/Zaug: RoI Crew, thanks for putting up with that ugly expansion. Minstrels weren't always god mode.

Brio/Reefer: If you guys never transferred, I would have quit. You made pvp fun and competitive again and was fun hanging out in vent.

To the freeps:
Pressure on reefer, I want a bubble blown, get ready to switch to dalkhur, I don't see any HoTs, finish it, get tar down, move out of WL banner range, find the overextended wargs, there! jotar, good job, find me a target haeb, okay bring down talidis, I have enpeecee ready when tali gets a bubble, there, get ready to switch back onto some wargs, bring down their dps so we can rez up, talidis bubble down, finish it, out of blight, into the tar, freep ball it NAO, ents lightning storm raging blades gourd go go go, haeb target reavers, good now fall back so warleader rezzes are all spread out, start working on krimond, his quitters and uruk heal should be down, finish it, no healers, no focus target, free for all, finish it

Not that hard right?

Grats to one of the classiest and most respected player on server!!! Much grats, you pretty much soloed your way to r10 which is amazing since late changes made it very hard, but you keep it coming no matter how much you getting zerged. You also one of the best rks on server, Im very happy to know you and have privilege to group with you in that rare times. Grats again. Onwards to r11!!!

I usually dont make grats threads to people I dont know well, but this is different. Torqueo is the first r14 warg on the server also one of the top wargs by far who doesnt qq, but kills freeps none stop. I have to admit that you hell of a beast warg, keep it coming, u also one of the high rank creeps who doesnt sit in one shots all day. Grats again, Onwards to R15!!!

Freeps:

Mini: Apache (will miss you so bad), and I think Nisi, and Daenyras (especially daeny <3) should get some honorable mentions! :D

Captain: Phoenixash, guys been a saint... and one of the only cappies out here.

Guardian: anyone but happymeal :P

Champ: Meldo, guy know his stuff. Honorable mentions to Elduche, fun competing with you for the next rank bud.

Hunter: Melkar and Jangofettin... these guys are great raid leaders, and fun to talk too (no more drowning raccoon's Melk ><)

Lore-Master: Recently, I would have to give this to Eaddred, been improving a lot and been out, A LOT.

Warden: Cookie, nice bleeds :P, also Pwnography, creepies no like your bleeds either bro.

Rune-Keeper: Heals department goes to Ona (one of the most bestest healy rk's!) and Inacthas, Dps wise I will give it to Nya (zap zap) and Inacthas as well.

Burglar: Well... Saffhire, kills creeps gets out quick, Dangoon, same thing yet stays in the fray for a longer time and doesn't care if he dies.

Creeps:

Black-Arrow: Bowchie, been out a lot leading a lot of noobs raids for creeps, thanks for keeping the action strong :)

Reaver: Well, who else but our very own Reeferbaby? <3 Lubshag too!

Weaver: Easy... Malgil...

Defiler: Enpeecee, crazy heals :D

Warg: I have to give this to Greydawg, one of the more honorable wargs in my opinion, fun to talk with on creep side too.

War-Leader: Tough one but... Krimond... leads the 'Not so noob groups' and can through out some good heals.
